White wenge lumber refers to a type of wood known as Lati (Amphimas pterocarpoides), which is sometimes called "white wenge" due to its similar grain patterns to wenge (Millettia laurentii). Unlike the dark brown color of wenge, Lati features a light yellowish-brown to golden-yellow heartwood. It has a coarse texture and is relatively easy to work with despite having a moderate blunting effect on tools.
